Spirit of ExCEL Winner: Sandra Duval

Sandra Duval has been selected to receive the UACF Spirit of ExCEL Award for this quarter. Sandra is the Chief Officer of Policy and Research with UACF.

Sandra has demonstrated the ExCEL Principles by displaying respect and honesty in communicating openly with co-workers and her patience and support to encourage everyone is outstanding.

Sandra is a total pleasure to work with. Since she has been hired, her job duties have been changed so many times and she has never complained. She does what ever is given to her be it writing a report for someone at the last minute, stopping to work on her own project to help someone with a computer (IT) problem - always with a smile, to filling in at a meeting for Oscar and helping plan and/or clean up after a party. No matter how overwhelming her regular duties and tasks are Sandra does not hesitate to stop what she is doing to assist another co-worker.

Sandra Duval has demonstrated time and time again her willingness to go beyond what is generally expected in the course of a work day. Whenever she has the opportunity to assist one of her colleagues, there's no hesitation in providing the needed support. Her team player mindset is exemplary and appreciated by all who have the pleasure of working with her. She has never been given an assignment or assumed a task that was not done thoroughly and completely.

We enjoy her company tremendously and working with her on a daily basis. Congratulations Sandra for your ongoing commitment and dedication.
