United Advocates for Children and Families Secures First Syndicated Newspaper Column on Mental Health in California
UACF is pleased to announce that after extensive outreach efforts, 15 California daily and community newspapers have agreed to run what is believed to be the very first syndicated column in California on mental health.

UACF Awarded CalMHSA Prop 63 Grant
UACF was recently awarded a $2.6M grant to execute a grassroots strategy to reduce mental health stigma and discrimination, with a focus on targeted populations. The grant was awarded by the California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA), an organization of county governments working to improve mental health outcomes for individuals, families, and communities, and was funded by the voter-approved California Mental Health Services Act (Prop. 63).
